On Friday 26th February 2021, the NSW government moved to ban the captive breeding of cetaceans (which includes dolphins, whales, orcas and porpoises). This is great news and means that Queensland is now the only state in Australia with an active captive dolphin breeding facility.

Warwick Saleyards operate two livestock auctions every week for both cattle and sheep. The facilities are completely inadequate in terms of animal welfare. There is very little shade and animals are often left for hours in the hot sun, in crowded pens without access to water.
